FIIRO ACTING DIRECTOR GENERAL COMMISSIONS NEW OFFICES

 

Over twenty-five newly renovated offices were commissioned for use recently by the Ag. Director General of FIIRO Dr. (Mrs.) Yemisi Asagbra. This brought to an end the age long problem of inadequate office space for members of staff, the Engineering building had a major share of the offices.

 

Notable among them are the Establishment office of the HRM Dept, the Chemical Division, the Procurement Dept, the Product Development Division, the PDD Dept etc. With this Development members of staff now have better office environment to work in. The three unions in the institute, FIIRO cooperative society, Cassava Processors were also allocated offices. Presently, we have offices that are being renovated to the 90% mark of completion. We have the Drivers office, the laboratories and many more. 

Commenting on the Development, the Acting DG reiterated the commitment of management to ensure adequate office space for all. She also enjoined members of staff to imbibe good maintenance culture. A typical feature of the offices is the style of demarcation, uniformity of colour and the adoption of the Workstation sitting arrangements in the offices.
